Picture Book Month :: Emma Kate

Emma Kate by Patricia Polacco is a wonderful book about a little girl and an elephant. They're best friends that do everything together. It's a perfect story for an imagination/ imaginary friends themed lesson, storytime, discussion, or just pure enjoyment. Also, there's a little twist at the end which makes the book stellar. This book is great for preschoolers and up.
