foggy it!

This picture may look gray and gloomy to some people, but I absolutely love it. This was taken with my phone on a short drive we took to the beach today. All of a sudden the fog just seemed to roll in from out of nowhere and blanketed the ocean. amazing. When this happened it made me want to go home, snuggle under a throw, drink a hot cup of chamomile tea, and read a good book. There's nothing (okay nothing is a little exaggerated) better than snuggling at home on a cold afternoon. This is a good life.

ooh it!

Oh, how I love Thanksgiving. It's one of those holidays where people make time to get together, build memories, and all while sharing a great (hopefully) meal. Beautiful. Today we had a small gathering of my nephew, his girlfriend, and my husband and myself. Perfection. We decided to do Korean food rather than all the traditional fare. Our meal consisted of Kalbi Jin, Shrimp Tempura, Salad, Rice, Sweet Potato Casserole, Peach Dump Cake, and Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. Everything was delicious and it was fun to catch up with the kids. This was by far the simplest and relaxing Thanksgiving we've had as a married couple. The day was lovely and I'm so grateful to have been able to spend it with people that are dear to my heart. Hope you all had a great day as well.
